ITM Server Multiple Cross-site Scripting Vulnerabilities (CVE-2023-4802, CVE-2023-4803)

Multiple reflected cross-site scripting vulnerabilities exist in the Insider Threat Management (ITM) Server's web console. These could be used by an authenticated administrator to run arbitrary javascript within another web console administrator's browser. All versions prior to 7.14.3.69 are affected.

Vulnerability Information

The vulnerability in the UpdateInstalledSoftware endpoint is identified by CVE-2023-4802.

The vulnerability in the WriteWindowTitle endpoint is identified by CVE-2023-4803.

Both vulnerabilities have been assigned a CVSS score of 4.8 (Medium):

Fixed Software

Proofpoint has released fixed software versions 7.14.3.69 and 7.15.0.
