SINGAPORE, August 4, 2022 – Proofpoint, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, today announced the appointment of Evan Dumas to lead the Southeast Asia and Korea (SAK) region as Vice President. In this role, Evan is responsible for establishing and growing Proofpoint’s business within SAK, as well as positioning Proofpoint as a leader in people-centric cyber security solutions. Evan will report directly to Alex Lei, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific and Japan for Proofpoint.

According to Gartner®, the Mature Asia Pacific end user spending for Enterprise security market has an 9.1% CAGR growth through 2025 and will be worth around US$12.3B in 2026. Among the markets pushing this growth are Cloud Access Security Brokers Software, Enterprise Data Loss Prevention Software, Secure E-Mail Gateway Software and Threat Intelligence Software with a combined 18.4% CAGR in 2026.¹ 

Evan brings with him over 20 years of experience from Silicon Valley to Asia Pacific. Most recently, he led the enterprise sales team for Asia and India at Pluralsight. Prior to that, Evan was regional director, Southeast Asia and Korea at Check Point for three and a half years and was instrumental in leading the team to achieve sustained double-digit growth across all products and services.
