Will you be in Austin, TX, over the coming week to attend SXSW 2017? If so, stop by to see us — and our new Awareness Video Campaign, “Don’t Let Thieves In” — in booth #410 at the Austin Convention Center from March 12 through March 14.

We first announced the addition of Awareness Video Campaigns to our Security Awareness Materials portfolio last month at RSA, where we unveiled our “Great Saves” theme. The terrific response prompted us to expand the offering as soon as possible.

“Our first set of Awareness Videos Campaigns has been widely accepted by our customers, and their feedback encouraged us to move quickly to create another theme to help organizations of all sizes keep security top of mind for their end users,” said Amy Baker, Wombat Vice President of Marketing.

More About the Campaigns

The new “Don’t Let Thieves In” theme is as lighthearted as the first series and covers a new set of topics in a new way. The brief, humorous videos show end users making security mistakes in the workplace, unknowingly allowing thieves into their offices to steal important information.

Our Awareness Video Campaigns include professionally created videos and companion posters and images. These materials allow program administrators to introduce their employees to the idea of security awareness training and/or deliver ongoing cybersecurity campaigns that help to create conversations and build a culture of security. The security awareness videos highlight relevant topics in ways that resonate with end users; the campaign materials cover the following subjects:

Don’t Let Thieves In

  • Safe use of social media
  • Physical security best practices
  • Avoiding ransomware attacks

Great Saves

  • Dangers associated with open-access/free WiFi
  • Phishing traps
  • Ways to protect confidential data
  • The importance of safeguarding protected health information

Customers who license our Awareness Video Campaigns will have the freedom to customize the files they receive. Wrappers can be added to the beginning and end of each video, and logos and company-specific content can be added to the posters and images.

More About SXSW

We are sponsoring CSM Passcode’s booth at SXSW this year, and we’d love to meet you in #410 and show you our “Don’t Let Thieves In” campaign materials firsthand. If you’ll be at the show, plan to stop by the booth at 1:00 p.m. CDT on Sunday, when Mike Nobers, our Director of Partner Channel and Alliances, will be delivering a presentation about the evolution of end-user risk and behavior change in the workplace.
