Webinar: Tips for Selling Security Awareness Training Internally

On April 24, our Security Awareness Training Evangelist, Dale Zabriskie, joined Joe Krock, Humana’s Cyber Training and Awareness Leader, for the SecureWorld webinar, “From Skeptics to Champions: Selling the Value of Security Awareness Training Throughout Your Organization.” Now available to watch on demand, this web conference provides access to actionable advice for overcoming obstacles and learning to speak the language of the stakeholders within your organization—from executives to end users.

The session kicks off with a poll question, in which the audience was asked how well their organization’s senior managers understood the value of security awareness training. As you’ll see in the chart below, though more than 40% had a very positive response, more than 50% are still battling for buy-in. If you are in that latter population, the tips offered during the webinar can help you sell your initiative to the different audiences within your organization and prepare to answer the difficult questions that you’re likely to encounter before and after launching your program.
