But the task is as vital as it is difficult. Why must organisations invest in modern compliance solutions?
The short answer is because you have to. Whatever your industry, there will be various legal requirements governing how you capture, store and use company and customer data.
As well as industry-specific compliance regulations, there are more overarching obligations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) in the U.S. Failure to comply with these laws can lead to considerable fines, not to mention many unfavorable headlines.
