Innovative PhishAlarm Features Power Best-in-Class Email Reporting

Share with your network!

As you may already know, our mission is twofold: To develop innovative, industry-leading security awareness training products, and to assist organizations in applying our Continuous Training Methodology, a 360-degree approach to cybersecurity education that keeps best practices top-of-mind for end users and helps infosec teams reduce cyber risk. Our PhishAlarm® email reporting button forwards both of those pursuits, and newly announced features make this an even more effective tool for end users and security response teams alike.

PhishAlarm reinforces positive end-user behaviors by enabling quick, easy reporting of suspected phishing attacks. It also provides security and helpdesk teams with critical software tools to streamline their efforts and focus their time on the most dangerous threats within their networks.

In speaking about the new capabilities (noted below), Joe Ferrara, Wombat President and CEO said, “With the continued increase in phishing, ransomware, and social engineering attacks, engaging employees as an active component in the company’s security posture is critical. The new features separate PhishAlarm from competitors in the industry as a best-in-class product.”

Customization

Administrators can customize the attributes of the PhishAlarm email client add-in, including labels, names, export formats, and reporting actions. Allowing organizations this level of personalization drives increased usage of PhishAlarm across the enterprise.

Patented Whitelist Emails Feature

Our patented Whitelist Emails feature gives organizations the ability to separate trusted internal and external emails from suspicious emails that get reported, reducing the number of false positives and improving the productivity of security teams. The feature also provides organizations a unique opportunity for reinforcement with end users by helping employees identify legitimate emails that can be trusted.

Advanced Attachments

These features enable better tracking and reporting of ThreatSim® simulated phishing attacks that include attachments.

Broadest Email Client Support

PhishAlarm supports the largest number of email clients in the industry (and we will continue to expand coverage in future releases):
