VPN Flaws Cause Traffic Jams Across Netherlands

Earlier this month, we wrote about a VPN vulnerability affecting more than 80,000 organisations' networks and making them potentially vulnerable to hackers.

VPN vulnerabilities can reach even beyond the walls of the organisations, though. Earlier this week, Dutch new outlets reported traffic jams across the country that they connected back to a VPN vulnerability. Many Dutch government offices were forced to take their servers offline because of the vulnerability, which means that until it's patched, government workers are unable to work remotely and have to report to their offices. The sudden influx of government workers reporting to their respective offices has led to major traffic problems on the highways.

Find out how adopting the Zero Trust approach and moving your network security to the cloud enables you to rest easy and avoid traffic jams.
