Prior to Proofpoint, Mike worked at several early-stage technology startups in marketing roles. Mike has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Saikrishna (Sai) Chavali is a Product Marketer at Proofpoint where he is defining a new product category in the information security industry: Insider Threat Management. Sai has expertise in growing and building information security products to protect data, applications and users across insider threat management and application security. Prior to his role at Proofpoint, Sai held product management positions at Veracode, where his products helped to reduce software vulnerabilities in web applications used by Fortune 100 enterprise companies and consumers all over the world.

As Vice President of Product Marketing, Tim is responsible for product marketing and Go To Market plans for all of Proofpoint’s compliance and security products. Prior to Proofpoint, he was Vice President of product management at BlackBerry and was part of the turnaround journey of the company to software and security. Tim also led product management and product marketing at WatchDox (acquired by BlackBerry) and product initiatives for VASCO’s cloud authentication services. Tim started his career as the first employee at Voltage Security (acquired by HP), where he held leadership roles in product management, technical sales, services and business development. Tim has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and M.S. degree in Management Science and Engineering, both from Stanford University.

Itir Clarke is a Senior Product Marketing Manager for Proofpoint's Cloud App Security solutions. Before joining Proofpoint, Itir worked on data center products at Cisco, Brocade and Sun Microsystems. Itir has over 20 years of information technology experience in OEM Marketing, Product Marketing and Management roles. Her responsibilities at Proofpoint include positioning and messaging of our CASB solution, evangelizing our people-centric approach to cloud security, blogging about cloud threats and security, definition and execution of campaigns and promotions, and sales enablement. In her role as a Sr. Product Marketing Manager, she works closely with product management, threat research, and corporate marketing to bring new threat protection, data security and cloud governance capabilities to the market. She also collaborates with cloud security organizations such as Cloud Security Alliance and analyst firms on market research projects, conducting surveys to develop educational reports on cloud security adoption trends and customer requirements. Itir has significant experience at communicating technical and strategic vision to customer, sales and analyst organizations.
Matt Cooke is a Cybersecurity Strategist at Proofpoint, where he creates relevant industry information and topical use-cases for the EMEA region. He provides insights and expertise, country by country, on cyber resilience and defences such as people-centric security, security awareness training and risk management.

Adenike Cosgrove is Cybersecurity Strategist for EMEA at Proofpoint, where she drives product marketing and strategic initiatives across European markets, and provides expertise on regional challenges such as data privacy and compliance.
Prior to joining Proofpoint, Ms. Cosgrove was global product marketing lead for Email Fraud Protection at Return Path, a division acquired by Proofpoint in the summer of 2016.
In her role, Ms. Cosgrove participated as a subject matter expert in key security conferences and was elected Vice Chair of the DMARC.org working group, tasked with developing a means of fagging fraudulent emails to consumers in cooperation with some of the world’s largest email service providers.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Cosgrove worked as lead EMEA advisor to security and risk professionals for Forrester Research and Canalys, where she developed a deep understanding of CISO challenges, and helped clients with their information and cybersecurity strategies.
Ms. Cosgrove holds a Masters of Research, Telecommunications from UCL (University College London).
Richard Davis is a Cybersecurity Strategist at Proofpoint, where he creates relevant industry information and topical use-cases for the EMEA region. He provides insights and expertise, country by country, on cyber resilience and defences such as people-centric security, security awareness training and risk management.

Sherrod is the Senior Director of Threat Research and Detection leading a worldwide malware research team to advance Proofpoint threat intelligence and keep organizations safe from cyberattacks. Sherrod directs her 24/7/365 team to investigate advanced threats, deliver protections to customers daily, and create scalable threat intelligence solutions that integrate directly into Proofpoint products. Sherrod has been with Proofpoint for five years and has over fifteen years of information security experience.

Gretel Egan is a security awareness training strategist for Proofpoint, a leading provider of cybersecurity services and solutions. She is a Certified Security Awareness Practitioner (CSAP) and has been working in technical, business, and consumer communications for more than 20 years. Gretel has extensive experience in researching and developing cybersecurity education content for Fortune 1000 companies and was named one of the “10 Security Bloggers to Follow” by IDG Enterprise.
Fabiola Fernandez works on the Product Marketing Team at Proofpoint, educating and training our customers and staff on products specific to Nexus People Risk Explorer and People-centric Security messaging. Fabiola has over 3 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and 6 years in the security space, having worked in several customer engagement events in her prior role at Keysight Technologies. She received her education at Santa Clara University and enjoys cooking and baking in her free time.

He brings over eighteen years experience in the enterprise security market where, through a range of roles including engineering, product management and product marketing. He has a proven track record of building success in new markets as well as promoting growth within more established areas. Guntrip earned his Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Southampton University, UK.

With over 15 years’ experience in brand and fraud protection, Robert Holmes currently drives the strategy at Proofpoint for email fraud defense to help businesses implement solutions to protect their brands, customers and employees from advanced cyber threats. Mr. Holmes joined Proofpoint from Return Path, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Email Fraud Protection where he successfully built an innovative line of business, which Proofpoint acquired in the summer of 2016. Prior to Return Path, Mr. Holmes held a variety of leadership positions at Corporation Service Company and Melbourne IT's Digital Brand Services, helping major corporations better understand, quantify and manage risk across the digital channels. Mr. Holmes has a MA (Hons) degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford, England.

With over 15-years of experience in the information security industry, Ryan currently leads cybersecurity strategy for Proofpoint and is a sought-out expert for media commentary on breaches and best practices for enterprises as well as consumers. He joined Proofpoint from WatchDox where he served as chief marketing officer and was responsible for successfully building and leading the marketing team through the company’s acquisition by Blackberry. Prior to WatchDox, Ryan was instrumental in running solutions across Hewlett-Packard’s portfolio of security products. He has also held a variety of marketing leadership positions at ArcSight and VeriSign including EMEA regional manager. Ryan received his bachelor's degree from Stanford University, where he studied fault tolerance, cryptography, and authentication algorithms.

Brian Reed is our Cybersecurity Evangelist at Proofpoint. He comes to Proofpoint from Gartner where he focused on a wide variety of topics - cloud security, data security, incident response, insider threats and security awareness.
Since 2015, he published over 50 thought-leading research notes at Gartner, including Cool Vendors reports, Market Guides for Digital Forensics and Incident Response Services and Security Awareness Training, Risk Management research, as well as the last two Gartner Magic Quadrants for Enterprise DLP.
Previous to Gartner, he spent over 15 years in a variety of business development, product management, sales and system engineering roles, at companies including Sourcefire (acquired by Cisco), HP, McAfee and Internet Security Systems (acquired by IBM). He is well known in the information security industry and has spoken at numerous Gartner events, as well as other industry events globally. Brian also serves as an advisory board member and holds a BA degree from The University of Georgia and an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
