We recently highlighted the Anti-Phishing Working Group's Q1 2016 Phishing Activity Trends Report, which tracked a historic 250% increase in phishing sites between October 2015 and March 2016. These statistics reflect a continuation of the trends we saw within our own 2016 State of the Phish™ Report, which showed significant increases in phishing attacks in general and spear phishing attacks in specific between October 2014 and September 2015.

The infographic attached to this post features some of the key findings from the 2016 State of the Phish as well as a Ponemon Institute research study, The Cost of Phishing and Value of Employee Training. These statistics help to highlight the financial impact phishing attacks have on organizations and how our unique approach to security awareness training can help you manage end-user risk and reduce the costs associated with social engineering attacks. If you are seeking ammunition that will help convince decision-makers to allocate or increase spending dedicated to effective cybersecurity education, this infographic will help.
