Prior to joining Proofpoint, he was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, leading corporate and workplace solutions engineering with a focus on digital risk and end-user experience. Harry has held senior leadership roles at Workspot, VMware, and Citrix, and served as a senior technology consultant to leading financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital, and Dow Jones.

Harry holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors in Electronic Systems Engineering from the University of Manchester and completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Nandak Venkatesan

Vice President of Engineering for Digital Communications Governance (DCG), Proofpoint

Nandak Venkatesan is the Vice President of Engineering for Digital Communications Governance (DCG) at Proofpoint, where he leads software development and innovation across the DCG product portfolio. With over 20 years of experience in SaaS engineering leadership, Nandak has driven impactful technology initiatives at companies ranging from high-growth startups to global enterprises. Prior to Proofpoint, he led product engineering at Aura, a digital security and identity protection startup, spearheaded cloud platform modernization at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and managed the M&A product suite at SS&C Intralinks.

Nandak specializes in scaling global engineering teams, securing and modernizing cloud architectures, and delivering user-focused applications. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Jeff Reed

Vice President & Associate General Counsel of Technology & Products Group, Proofpoint

Jeff Reed is based in California and is the Vice President & Associate General Counsel of Proofpoint’s Technology & Products Group. Jeff and his team focus on data privacy & security, artificial intelligence, intellectual property and multiple other cutting edge legal topics relevant to cybersecurity and communications compliance. He has been with Proofpoint for 10 years and works closely with Proofpoint’s Digital Communications Governance team.

Daniel Blackford

Director of Threat Research, Proofpoint

Daniel Blackford is a Director of Threat Researcher at Proofpoint. He spends his days hunting through massive amounts of maliflow and cloud data to identify malign threat activity in order to surface and provide context for those threats both directly to clients as well as through tools such as TAP. Daniel also tracks the various actors and TTPs that comprise the threat landscape. Prior to his work at Proofpoint, Daniel worked as a malware analyst at the National Cyber Forensics and Training Alliance (NCFTA) on site in Pittsburgh, PA.

Daniel holds a background in malware analysis and threat intelligence and has contributed to industry discussions on topics such as the effectiveness of cyberattack takedowns and the evolving threat landscape.
