Proofpoint Agentic Data & AI Security System: unifies data loss prevention, insider threat management, and AI runtime protection to prevent sensitive data loss by people or AI agents.

Accelerating Our Vision for Data and AI Security
A defining milestone in our strategy came with the announcement of our intent to acquire Varonis. The proposed combination connects Proofpoint's intelligence into how people and AI agents interact with information with Varonis' deep visibility into sensitive data and access. Together, we intend to deliver a level of insight and protection neither company offers alone today, helping customers identify and stop risks across their environments.
The transaction remains subject to closing conditions, and both companies will operate independently until closing.
