5 Must-See Attractions at RSA Conference 2016 - A preview

Share with your network!

We’re already over a month into 2016, and that means that the RSA® Conference 2016 is fast-approaching! On February 29th, the best and brightest minds in the cybersecurity industry will gather to network with each other and share the latest tech innovations.

After 25 years of RSA Conferences, this 26th iteration is particularly special—it’s the first time illusive networks will make an appearance.

If you’re heading to San Francisco for the event, here are the 5 highlights that you should make a point of fitting into your busy cybersecurity agenda.

1.  Meet the illusive Team

It’s our first time exhibiting at RSA Conference, and we’re planning on making a big splash. You may have heard that Gartner recently recognized deception technology as the key to fighting cyber threats — but you might not realize what that means.

We’ll be at Booth N4425 all week to discuss the ins and outs of our Deceptions Everywhere® approach to cybersecurity. And who knows, you might even witness something new, the likes of which the cybersecurity industry hasn’t seen until now. You’ll have to visit the illusive networks booth to learn more…

2.  The Annual Innovation Sandbox Contest

As excited as we are to exhibit at RSA Conference, what we’re looking forward to most is the Innovation Sandbox Contest.

We’re honored to be nominated as a top 10 finalist for this year’s Sandbox competition, where illusive’s Deceptions Everywhere® approach will compete against other  cybersecurity solutions to earn the title of “RSA Conference 2016’s Most Innovative Startup.” Come watch the competition on Monday, February 29th at 1:00 PM in The Viewing Point and check out this fast-paced challenge.

3. Live Demo: The Ultimate Reason Why Hackers Are Winning the Mobile Malware Battle

We recently discussed the dangers of enterprise mobility to cybersecurity efforts, and Skycure will host a live demo at the event of mobile malware threats.

Understanding the methods of attackers is fundamental to cybersecurity success, and this demo will explain how easy it is for attackers to bypass traditional means of security. The live demo will take place Thursday, March 3rd at 9:10 AM in Room 3009.

4. Live Demo: Steps, Tools, and Techniques of the Russian Attack

Russian cyber attackers have participated in some of the most extensive data breaches in the history of cybersecurity.

If you want to learn how to get “into the mind of the attacker,” take the time to attend this live demo from Proofpoint, Inc., security professionals.

The demo will disclose previously confidential Russian crimeware, including the tools and techniques that users implement to compromise corporate websites, inject backdoors and malicious code, add botnet features to malware, scan for antivirus and more.

After the demo, Sun and Wayne Huang will shift gears and discuss ways to break the Russian cyber attack chain.

5.  The illusive networks Customer Cocktail Party

Exhibiting at the RSA Conference gives us a chance to celebrate our cybersecurity customers. Stop by Illusive’s booth on Monday or Tuesday to be added to the guest list for our RSA VIP Pub Night at “The Chieftain” Tuesday, March 1st from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
